Manchester United's season was one of their worst season in recent years, ending with nothing to call their own and qualifying for the Europa League only because of their City rivals brilliants, (Manchester United would have ended up playing a disappointed playoff to qualify for the UEFA Europa League, had it been Manchester City were stunned by a buzzling Watford side) but a class defining performance from city did not only earn them a quadruple and a historic English treble, but also saves United's Ass.

The Red Devils spark in the middle of the season by an Interim Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not enough to save them from later humiliation as their 10 matches Unbeaten run turns sour and landed them another series of losses in the closure of the season, which left them a 7th position, missing out on next year's UEFA Champions League and no trophy, (not even a glass cup for the English Giants).

After that disappointing season, United will be looking to strengthen up their squad and also release underperforming players away from the club.
