  • Ashley Young and David de Gea made two bad errors that send United out of the Champions League.

Manchester United were eliminated in the Champions League by Bearcelona at Nou Camp. The Reds suffer a humiliating 3-0 defeat (4-1) on aggregate, thanks to goals from Lionel Messi and Philip Coutinho.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Men were dealt a huge blow, after defeating French side Paris Saint German (PSG), the Reds failed to make an impact in their draw against Barcelona, receiving two defeat on a row to the Spanish Club, a 1-0 loss at home and a humiliating 3-0 defeat at Nou Camp in their returning leg in Spain.

However two of the Barcelona’s goals were from huge errors, the first came from an error from Ashley Young, the Englishman boycott a dangerous ball and failed to make a clean clearance and the ball bounces straight to Lionel Messi who neatly dribble past Fred to send a low shot at the bottom conner.
Just after three minutes a disordered Manchester United Midfield allow Lionel Messi to connect a one-two with Coutinho and the defence again could not stop the Five time Balon d’Or winner as he send a weak shot through David de Gea’s arms.

The Spanish Goalkeeper was surely to be blamed for the second goal as the weak shot pass directly under him as he untimely lie low on the ground without grasping the ball.

It was a good day for Lionel Messi as he continuously dazzles Manchester United defence with his magical dribbles, even though two of his goals were from great errors, the Argentine Playmaker had a good game with alot of fun packed dribbles and a brace which makes sure he stays on top of the Champions League Goalscorers chart.

The Argentine’s Closest rival Cristiano Ronaldo was eliminated in the competition by Ajax to give him more hopes of winning the Golden Boot this season after losing the race for more than four seasons.

David de Gea’s error stirred up alot of criticism from football fans on Social Media, some mocked the Reds Keeper  as Spanish Karius, some even go an extra mile to name Karius as his secret Goalkeeping Coach.
