A Zambian police officer aged 29, had committed suicide a little while after killing his wife.
The officer, identified as Albert Kamasumba, had been separated from his wife identified as Deborah Kasakulu for a couple of months before the incident and she was staying with her parents.

According to another version of the report by a local media, Deborah had left her husband because he constantly abused her.
The incident occurred on Sept 20, 2022 after Albert had left work to go to Deborah after he heard that she was getting married to another man.
When he got to her house, he met both the wife and her sister, shot both of them, ran to Pamodzi community and shot himself.
