Chelsea’s £71M bench-warmer Kepa Arrizabalaga, says his removal from the first team sheet is not pleasing to him, but he is certain he could get back to his position as Chelsea’s first choice Goalkeeper.
Kepa who is at the moment the most expensive goalkeeper in the world, was taken off Chelsea’s first team -following his total lack of form and constant errors that cost the team many matches- and replaced with less expensive but more effective Eduardo Mendy.
However according to the Spaniard, “In the life of a footballer there are ups and downs, but in the end what is in my hands is to work.”
“I feel good, strong, and confident. During your career sometimes you have to live moments like this, I’m confident I can turn it around and do my best when I play. We all want to play. But I don’t think about anything beyond day-to-day life and focusing on the national team’s matches.”
